R-Plastik, a subsidiary company of ROSTAR Research-and-Production Association, has developed a centerpoint suspension shoe bushing that greatly exceeds the performance of previously released versions. This was achieved by introducing a new centerpoint suspension constructed of the thermoplastic polymer brand 'Grodnamid' and adding modifying agents such as graphite and molybdenum dioxide.
This new composite material greatly improves anti-frictionality, while preserving the main physical and mechanical advantages of previously used 'Armamid' in the production of centerpoint suspension shoe bushings. To be specific: Grodnamid, the antifriction agent, with graphite and molybdenum dioxide additives lowers the friction marker on steel down to 0.15-0.30. This remarkably prolongs the life of the important suspension part - the centerpoint suspension shoe bushing. Ultimately, this prolongs the life of the suspension itself.
